Peter helps members of his community discover their story.

Peter received a Regents diploma with honors from Fonda-Fultonville High School and then attended Syracuse University for three years before leaving to start italyMONDO!. His business has become "the premier Italian cultural heritage company in America" and has offices in Italy as well as in his hometown of Amsterdam. ItalyMondo! doubled its sales the first two years, and Peter projects that within three years he will reach $1million in sales. He says deciding to start his business in Amsterdam made all the difference. "People want you to succeed here," he says. "I started my business at age 22 and there were so many people who wanted to help me. These were people who were willing to share their expertise. I just don't think that would have happened in some big metropolitan area." Peter has already been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
