About the Business Education Alliance
The Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Business Education Alliance (BEA) was formed to help promote and strengthen the career and job opportunities in our communities. We're working together to build a bright future for all of us, with a special commitment to make a real positive difference in the lives of future generations.
Who We Are
The BEA represents a unique working coalition of schools, economic development agencies, and chambers of commerce. This dynamic partnership between educational and business interests was formed to have a real and lasting impact on the future of this region. Working together, we believe we can help grow a skilled workforce, a strong local economy, and a vibrant place for all of us to live.
Our Goals
The BEA has a detailed strategic plan that outlines both short and long term goals. Our overriding objectives are:
- Help citizens become more aware of the region's industries and the career opportunities they offer
- Assist in the efforts of area school districts to further integrate workplace skills into their programs of study
- Strengthen the bond between business and education as they work together to further the economic development of the region
